Nowy Rynek is Skanska’s new huge multi-phase project in Poznan. The multifunctional complex is located on the grounds of the former PKS station (central bus station) in Poznan, and includes office, hotel, residential and service buildings supplemented with public and recreational spaces. The project is intended to create a new city center – accessible to everyone, conducive to work, recreation and entertainment. The overall concept of land development was prepared by JEMS Architekci from Warsaw. The cornerstone for the investment was laid in 2018, the first stage of implementation was commissioned in 2018 – a complex of two buildings with office functions (working names A and B), for which the project was created by Maćków Pracownia Projektowa from Wrocław. The project is supposed to be completed by 2024 with a total of over 100,000 m² of usable space. With 25 thousand m² of usable space, the building “B” is the first one to be built. Featuring 1250 workstations, 27 conference rooms, break rooms, recreation areas, auditorium, gym, café, own canteen and a childcare facility, building “B” is massive. Employees can enjoy a roof garden with beautiful views of the surrounding parks and the panorama of the city of Poznan. Finally, apart from the car garages, the project features underground parking for bicycles and changing rooms with showers.

The Solution
Designed in close cooperation with LEED certification specialists, the building is considered safe for its users as well as the environment. Alufire products were chosen for this project for their superb performance regarding noise reduction and their consistent looks. Specifically, Alufire Vision Line Acoustic+ was chosen for a big part of this project as well as Office Line Acoustic+ which was created exclusively for this project. Specifically, we developed a new version of Office Line with an even better noise reduction value just for this project. The combined solutions for this project created sophisticated interiors and the noise levels are impressively low (sound reduction of up to 47dB). Acoustic+ systems are the result of many years of continuous research thanks to which we have products with some of the best parameters on the market. Their unique features predestine them to be the “must-have” in the newest offices in Poland and worldwide. In the office building “B” in Poznan, the first implementation of Nowy Rynek complex; We have installed 2070 m² of Alufire constructions with over 75 tons of glass on five floors, which makes this project the largest and most complex in the field of production, logistics and assembly in the history of our company.
